“Reflecting today on the period of collaboration with architects Natalia and Alberto takes me back to a highly stimulating phase of my career. If I were to sum up the essence of this collaboration in a single word, it would undoubtedly be ‘complicity’; understood in the positive sense of the term, meaning ‘alliance’ or ‘engagement.’ Throughout my professional experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many architects and designers, but rarely have I felt like a true ‘accomplice’ in a project. More often than not, I’ve simply executed others’ ideas without fully making them my own.
In contrast, Natalia and Alberto had the remarkable ability to involve me in every project undertaken for Luxit, while also allowing themselves to be equally engaged. This brought out the best in each of us. I recognized in them an approach driven by curiosity, a desire to learn and experiment without ever losing sight of taste and the joy of beauty. They mastered the balance of combining functionality and product performance with the aesthetic vision that every designer aims to convey.
Without slipping into nostalgia, I want to express my gratitude to Natalia and Alberto for the many opportunities in which our collaboration turned into mutual professional and personal growth.
